Sales Tax:

PST: 8%  GST: 7% (Not applied on Groceries).  A total of 15% sales tax is charged on taxable items in Ontario.

Minimum Wage:

Minimum wage in Ontario is $8 for employees over the age of 18, and $7.25 for employees 18 and under.

Post Secondary Tuition: 

University tuition is approximately $4,000 - $6,00 per year.  College tuition is approximately $1,500 - $2,500 per year.

Driver's Licence and Licence Plates: 

The cost of a driver's licence is $50 for 5 years.  The cost of a learner's permit is $100 and includes the cost of the written test and road test.  Licence plates cost $74 annually.
